Ben Shaberman's essays, articles, and commentaries have been carried by several prominent media outlets including: The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun, VegNews, Vegetarian Times, and NPR. He's also published fiction and creative non-fiction in a number of literary journals including: Split Infinitive, Opium Magazine, Empty Mirror, The Good Men Project, Clean Sheets Erotica Magazine, and Crunchable. Shaberman holds a master of arts in writing from Johns Hopkins University.His awards include the Penny Ante Humor Scholarship from the Stonecoast Writers' Conference in 2003, and Second Place at the Des Moines National Poetry Festival in May 2002.
