Caleb has a fascination with artifacts from the seabed- pieces of the old world lost in the Cataclysm. They also have a deep and thrilling fear of the sea. When a diver is injured trying to retrieve a strange item, Caleb's dreams of drowning begin to feel more like memories. The artifact seems uncannily familiar, almost like an old friend. Will it unlock a part of Caleb they'd long forgotten? Or will it destroy their home and everyone they love?
In this sci-fi horror story, the trash and treasure of a sunken coast are sifted through in equal measure. Everybody sees differently, but not everybody bothers to look.
