Keith Ray enjoyed a long career in management consultancy, after originally studying engineering at Cambridge University. He has always been fascinated by engineering history and is a self-confirmed 'petrol head' who has written a number of books and papers on various aspects of transport and technological history as well as a series of humourous books for Columbus, 'The Extremely Serious Guides'. He is also an avid cartoonist. He has previously written Bizarre Cars for The History Press.
