Michael Matson

A former advertising creative director and film and video writer/director, Michael spent his youth following his military father to various postings including North Carolina, California, Hawaii and Japan. He is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Journalism and, in addition to working as an advertising agency copywriter and creative director, has produced videos and commercials in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Aspen, London and Copenhagen.His fairytale, The Diamond Tree, has received a number of favorable reviews from book bloggers. He has also self-published a mystery novel, Takeshi’s Choice, available at Amazon. Michael is currently living in the 16th Century colonial city of Morelia, Mexico. Current projects include two novels and a number of short stories.
