Level Two: Are you a winner or loser? When we first meet someone, we want to quickly assess their confidence—do they look like a leader or a follower?
Level Three: Are you an ally or an enemy? It’s one thing to see someone as nonthreatening, but the last level is when you decide whether someone should be on your team. Your brain wants to know if this person likes you enough to back you up.
