Unfettered is a study of the internal workings among the ethnic group of African Americans. This book aims to lead the readers into the inner life of the black and their true desires. Sutton E. Griggs was an African-American author, Baptist minister, and social activist. He is best known for his novel Imperium in Imperio, a utopian work that envisions a separate African-American state within the United States.
