The Doctor's Dilemma

The Doctor's Dilemma is a problem play concerning the moral difficulties created by limited medical resources and the clashes between the demands of private medicine as a business and an occupation. It follows the dilemma of Dr. Colenso Ridgeon, who has created a revolutionary cure for tuberculosis. However, his confidential medical practice, with little staff and resources, can only treat ten patients at a time.
